Overview
We are seeking an Intermediate Technical IT Business Analyst / Project Coordinator to coordinate a portfolio of short-duration IT projects involving multiple technology teams and business stakeholders.
The role will support the implementation and reconfiguration of existing IT services, infrastructure, applications, and technology solutions for new facilities, office relocations, organizational changes, and other business-driven initiatives.
The successful candidate will coordinate projects from planning through implementation, ensuring requirements, timelines, deliverables, risks, stakeholder expectations, and technical dependencies are effectively managed.
The role involves working with cross-functional IT teams such as End User Computing, Cloud, Servers, Storage, Network, Printing, Video Conferencing, Active Directory, Security, and Cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of IT projects ranging from internal departmental initiatives to single- or multi-business-unit projects.

Coordinate the implementation and reconfiguration of IT infrastructure and technology services.

Coordinate IT changes related to organizational restructures, including department/name changes and movement of programs, services, and employees.

Coordinate changes involving user accounts, distribution lists, security groups, shared mailboxes, network drives, business applications, and telecommunications services.

Gather, confirm, document, and analyze business, functional, and technical requirements.

Lead stakeholder consultations, project meetings, status meetings, and working sessions.

Develop project plans, project documentation, technical recommendations, and status reports.

Coordinate resources, dependencies, schedules, deliverables, risks, issues, and stakeholder expectations.

Ensure projects are delivered according to approved scope, schedule, deliverables, quality, security, and operational standards.

Maintain project documentation, status updates, and records using collaboration tools such as SharePoint.

Apply project management methodologies and governance practices to support effective delivery and business outcomes.

Ensure appropriate change management processes are followed.

Identify and communicate project risks, issues, and client satisfaction concerns, providing recommendations where required.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on proof-of-concept and limited production rollouts.

Provide quality control and oversight for production implementations.

Review new technology and service requests, assess their operational impact, and recommend appropriate solutions or remediation.

Document technical recommendations and provide technical guidance to management, operations, project teams, and IT service teams.

Communicate relevant operational guidelines, policies, and procedures to stakeholders.

Use AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency and enhance human capabilities while maintaining security, privacy, and human oversight.

Track and report time, project status, progress, and deliverables as required.

Requirements
Must Have

Experience coordinating IT projects involving multiple technology teams and stakeholders.

Experience working as a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, IT Project Coordinator, or similar role.

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, technology services, and operational environments.

Experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and technical requirements.

Experience coordinating project schedules, deliverables, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and consultation skills.

Experience developing project documentation, plans, status reports, technical recommendations, and presentations.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Experience following project management methodologies, governance processes, change management practices, security standards, and operational procedures.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Ability to manage multiple short-duration projects and competing priorities.

Experience supporting technology implementations, production rollouts, or operational changes.

Ability to assess the impact of new technology/service requests on existing operational environments.

Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft file-system security is highly relevant.

Familiarity with technologies such as networking, servers, cloud, storage, end-user computing, telecommunications, printing, collaboration tools, and cybersecurity.
